Description

The Explicit Vocabulary Instruction module introduces participants to the meaning, purpose, and benefits of using explicit methods for vocabulary development. Educators will explore intentional vocabulary selection guidelines and effective modeling and practice routines to support students with disabilities. Participants will reflect on their learning and apply these strategies by completing the explicit vocabulary instruction journal.

*This course has a prerequisite. You must complete the Explicit Instruction Path to Learn Module prior to registering for this module.

Possible Inservice Credits

FDLRS does not report inservice credits directly to FDOE. This module is offered statewide and may be eligible for 5 inservice credit in some districts. Upon completion of this module, you will receive a certificate of completion.rict.
