Description

The Supporting Students with Dyslexia module provides educators with a comprehensive understanding of dyslexia characteristics through the exploration of Florida's statutes, rules, and eligibility. Educators will examine how screening and assessment can be used to support students, and learn evidence-based practices in structured literacy, instructional design, and teacher delivery methods. Participants will reflect on their learning and apply these strategies by completing a personalized assignment and reflection.

Possible Inservice Credits

FDLRS does not report inservice credits directly to FDOE. This module is offered statewide and may be eligible for 5 inservice credit in some districts. Upon completion of this module, you will receive a certificate of completion.
